Qualifications
GCSE or equivalent Minimum 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (Grade Level 5 or above) Essential
Your key tasks and responsibilities:
- Prepare income and expense analysis using the firm's cloud bookkeeping software
- Use this data to prepare quarterly VAT returns
- Assist with the preparation of management accounts
- Liaise with clients to complete filings and to answer any queries
- Reconcile purchase, sales and general ledger entries
- Prepare accounting schedules such as fixed asset registers
- Make postings using the firm's accounting and working papers software
- Prepare returns and other documents for filing with Companies House or HM Revenue and Customs as instructed
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- You will become AAT qualified through the Level 4 Apprenticeship and have the opportunity to study further accounting qualifications
- Training will be a mix across classroom courses, online live courses and self study both in your local office as well as training providers premises
- Training courses will be block release
