What will the apprentice be doing?

Job to cover all aspects of the brewing process from start to finish. To prepare casks, fill casks, involved with small packaging in house on our state of the art canning line, including carbonation and cleaning. Follow the fermentation process and report on status of brew, Involved with recipe building, naming of beers. Sale through our onsite shop and online sales. To deliver beer to end user where required.

Also, work our outside bars and have time at each of our pub outlets, giving you knowledge of the entire business.

Helping fill mash tun with recipe ingredients.

  • Fermentation recording
  • Cleaning vessels
  • Shop assistant

We offer a friendly, fun environment in which to work, 28 days annual holiday inc bank holidays. 40hr Working week with overtime available. Uniform will be provided.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
  • Level 4 Higher National Certificate for a Brewery apprenticeship standard

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Lead Brewer position within company if desired, subject to further interveiw.
