Job description
Our company is currently seeking an apprentice Brewer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of beer styles and an interest in creating and packaging unique beers from scratch. The successful candidate for this position will also be punctual, a fast learner and have excellent communication abilities. This role is perfect for creative, energetic and ambitious individuals who want to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Salary: £5.28 per hour
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will gain a level 4 brewers qualification.
You will work full time at the brewery in Newburn with block release days at University in Nottingham. Travel and accomodation will be provided by the brewery.
Work Location: One location plus block release at University
Qualification: Level 4 Brewer
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Progression in to a full time Brewery and Packaging Assistant.

- Maintain the physical environment of the brewery.
- Monitor, clean and repair equipment.
- Aid the Head brewer and Assistant brewer in all aspects of the brewing process.
- Prepare ingredients for beer recipes.
- Perform laboratory tests on samples taken from wort, fermented beer and final product.
- Perform cleaning and sanitation duties.
- Packaging of beer in to keg, cask and can.
