About the apprenticeship

Duties

Service & maintenance of all mechanical components
Support onshore operations for the power plant at site.
Support power plant commissioning activities at various site
Support mechanical assembly at our test site.
Maintain inventory control.
Support H&S & Quality control activities

Additional information

This role will be based at our Assembly Hall in Holyhead, working with colleagues in Northern Ireland and Sweden. The role will include travel to other Minesto sites, including Sweden.
You will learn to manage your own tasks and therefore should be self-motivated to achieve high standards at all times.
The role will include hands on and desktop-based work, as well as general service & maintenance of the Assembly Hall.

Skills

Enthusiastic and energetic individual who is keen to learn and take instruction from engineers in a positive manner.
Able to follow set processes and procedures as well as suggesting new and better ways of working.
Happy to work within a team setting or by themselves.
The candidate should be confident in word and excel packages.

Qualifications

A minimum of 3 x GCSE's at grades C or above including English, Maths and Science.

NVQ Level 2 in Performing Engineering Operations
