Accounting And Taxation Professional Apprenticeship Level 7. If you're looking to develop your accountancy skills to lead finance departments or provide management accounting consultancy, CIMA is your ticket. CIMA is split into Certificate, a standalone 'beginner' qualification, and Professional, which is split into three levels: Operational, Management, and Strategic. The Certificate in Business Accounting is your starting point if you're new to accountancy. You'll learn the fundamentals of business economics, financial accounting, management accounting, and ethical considerations of commercial activity. Operational teaches you about organisational management, costs and analysis used in production, and financial reporting and taxation. Management equips you with the skills to perform advanced management accounting and advanced financial reporting tasks. Strategic develops your leadership and strategic management abilities, and teaches you about risk management.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Development down the Management accountant route with study support provided along the way.

Main overview:
- To support the production of accurate and timely management reporting which complies with all internal requirements
- To prepare analysis on costs, including detail on variances to budget / forecast
- To support the production of regular cashflow forecasting across the TMS regions, analysing actual cash movements against forecast
- To assist with completion of accurate budgets and forecasts to reflect the strategy and activities of TMS to agreed formats and timetables
- To support the wider Finance function, as required
- To identify and help to implement improvements in financial reporting and control throughout TMS

- Assist with the timely and accurate production of all management accounts and monthly reporting (local and group) to agreed formats and timetables, working with the regional Management
