About the apprenticeship

Duties

Duties will include learning how to safely perform maintenance, replacement and servicing on all manner of light vehicle components. Other duties will be allocated as appropriate including general housekeeping. Eventual MOT checks towards end of level 2. Whilst in full-time employment you will undertake the following qualifications:

VCQ Diploma in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Competence (7270 series)
VRQ Diploma in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Principles (7290 series)
Essential Skills in Application of Number, Communication and Digital Literacy

Additional information

Before applying for this position please ensure you are able to travel to and from the place of employment in Cardiff and to the XR Training Centre in Pyle once a week. You will be employed full-time as an apprentice by this company based in Cardiff. You will be enrolled onto a level 2 foundation apprenticeship in Motor Vehicle Maintenance.

Must be prepared to travel once a week to Pyle for off-the-job training as a mandatory requirement of the apprenticeship

Have a real passion for the motor industry
Prior GCSE achievement is an advantage
