Job summary

We are looking for an Apprentice Imaging Assistant, to train and work alongside our team within CT/MR Imaging Department. Most patients will have some form of imaging as part of their pathway and we are currently looking to expand our workforce to meet our needs

Main duties of the job

Liaising and booking inpatient and ED scans to ensure good patient flow and a timely diagnostic service.

Assist patients with the process- mobilising, changing etc

Attending patients at reception

Stocktaking, and cleaning between patients

The James Paget is a district general hospital for the people and visitors of Great yarmouth and Waveney area. The JPUH that is part of an ICS with the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital and Queen Elizabeths at Kings Lynn.

The JPUH is within walking distance of the beach at Gorleston and surrounded by beautiful Norfolk and Suffolk countryside. It has a good bus route and parking available for staff.
