This Business Administration Apprenticeship at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is an exciting opportunity to learn new skills and become part of the Professional Education Team. The apprentice will gain valuable administration experience, and experience working within the NHS whilst developing key transferable skills.
Main duties of the job
We wish to appoint an efficient and committed Apprentice Business Administrator to provide administration support to the Professional Education Facilitators within the busy Education and Development Service at Gloucestershire Royal and Cheltenham General Hospital.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who fits with our ethos of continual improvement and delivery of the highest quality patient-centred care.
The Apprentice Business Administrator post will work primarily, but not limited to the Professional Education Facilitators.This post comprises of, but is not limited to, administrative and data management support to the Practice Education Facilitator to maintain a mentor database, running and formatting of reports, support for training from room bookings, booking of staff onto training, and through to updating competence records post training, inputting and managing students on health roster, facilitating student IT access, and administrative support for the Student Council. The post requires a focussed approach to work with attention to detail. You will have well-developed communication, organisational and time management skills. An ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment is essential.
