Group Functions plays an important role in supporting all of our lines of business, from creating the policies and strategy for our business and our people, to managing the buildings we work in. We provide the services and support that keep BT running. The HR team is part of this and plays a critical role in BT. Here we're focused on looking after and developing leading edge people. It starts with anticipating their needs and supporting the drive to sustainable growth.

In joining our HR team, you'll gain professional experience and working knowledge in our HR Services team providing expert advice to line managers and employees across the globe.
Our apprenticeship programmes offer the right candidates the opportunity to work in a number of front line HR roles including HR helpdesk adviser, HR case management adviser, recruitment adviser and within the HR systems and change team. You will gain first-hand experience of operational HR roles in a busy and dynamic environment as well as having the opportunity to work towards a Chartered Institute of Personal Development professionally recognised qualification. You will be fully supported throughout the programme by a mentor to help you reach your maximum potential. For the higher programme you will need to have achieved or are predicted 2 A-Levels at grade C or above as well as a minimum of 4 GCSE's at grade C or above including English Language and Maths.
Equivalent qualifications are accepted.Future prospects At the end of your apprenticeship you will graduate from your apprenticeship and continue your career with BT.
