Description of Vacancy
Our client is an established local provider of security systems who are ready to welcome an apprentice into their small, friendly and supportive team.
As the Apprentice Office Administrator you will support the management team through a range of duties, but also have the opportunity to make your own impact by influencing and implementing administrative processes.
This role is an ideal opportunity for those who are enthusiastic, proactive and keen to get stuck in.
Tasks will include – but are not limited to – the following:
Outbound credit control calls
Filing and archiving receipts
Booking in appointments
Typing up letters
Light office housekeeping duties
You are encouraged to be proactive and the kind of duties you undertake will bloom with your experience.
£157.50 per week
37.5 working hours per week
Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00 with an half hour (unpaid) lunchbreak each day
You may be asked to support the office on occasional Saturdays, but will have the option to take time off in lieu.
The successful applicant should have a good telephone manner and be of a professional appearance
The successful candidate should be at least 18 years of age.
Due to the nature of the business, any offer of employment is subject to a successful DBS check.
Please note that there are dogs on site so this role would not be suited to those with allergies.
Minimum GCSE grade D/4 (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
The employer has asked that you do not contact them direct. Doing so could jeopardise your application. You will be responsible for your travel expenses to and from your place of work. Therefore, you must have the means to get to your place of work on a daily basis whilst waiting for your first wages to be paid.
