Employer Description
To perform general administration duties to ensure the smooth running of a busy General Practice.
Description of Vacancy
To provide a professional, efficient and streamlined telephony service to customers of Kent County Council, for specified services within the Authority’s operations.
Responsibilities
Scanning
Photocopying
Answering calls & dealing with queries
Taking messages
Typing including audio typing
Sending emails, completing forms etc
Wage
£4 per hour
Hours
Minimum 30 hours
Monday – Friday
Flexible working hours to suit the practice needs
Skills Required
Good computer skills
Good communications skills
Previous experience dealing with customers would be an advantage

Training Provided
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
