Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual for the Information Systems (IS) Services Apprentice role. The IS Services team at Morson Talent is built up of four key areas: Support, Data, Implementation and Development. 
The role is for the apprentice to spend time supporting each area and learning the foundations of knowledge before settling into a key role within the team.

Salary:
The salary would be £16,000 per annum, and then increase £1,000 per year for the 2 year duration of the course.

Responsibilities:

  • Support team members with varied tasks, ranging from data updates, data entry and monitoring tasks.
  • Learn knowledge from experts within the team on key areas.
  • Start to build knowledge of the solutions the IS Services team offer, such as the Request Tracker Ticketing System, Applicant tracker, Recruitment System, Payroll System and Dashboard solution.
  • Assist the System Account Manager on implementations to update the system, documentation, and issue communication.
  • Working on Microsoft excel to build foundation knowledge of Morson data.
  • Learning to understand the data and execute reports where required.
  • Dealing with internal and external stakeholders on the support to help resolve queries or escalate where required.
  • Monitor and action the compliance dashboards ensuring clean and reliable data.

The Apprentice will spend dedicated time in each area, supporting and learning from the existing members of the team. 
The time spent in each area will depend on resource needed at that time and will vary to accompany the apprenticeship work modules.

The role will be accompanied by an Microsoft Data essentials Apprentice course provided by QA.com

What we are looking for:
Skills and qualities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to multitask and manage own time effectively 
  • An insatiable appetite to learn 
  • Strong eye for detail 
  • Previous work experience in any environment is preferred, but not essential

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working week:
40hrs a week.
