Job Description:

 

As an Early Careers Assistant, you will be responsible for the overall coordination of our Apprenticeships and (Business Services) Graduate programmes across our UK offices, from recruitment through to development.

 

We are looking for someone who has a keen passion and interest in supporting people through our Early Careers programmes, and wants to build a career within Early Careers / HR.

What can you expect?

 

Reporting into the Early Careers Manager, this role would assist in all aspects of coordination and administration activity for the end-to-end hiring process and development of current and future Graduates and Apprentices.

Job duties

 

  • Support the administration of Business Graduate and Apprentice recruitment activities, ensuring an efficient and effective service to all involved in the hiring process.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for Apprentice and Graduate queries from future joiners.
  • Management of the Early Careers inbox and responding to queries.
  • Schedule and assist with recruitment events.
  • Co-ordinate candidate assessment centres, including sending invites, booking rooms and assisting on the day.
  • Assist with producing offer letters and contracts for new joiners.
  • Assist with onboarding of new apprentices and graduates including supporting the induction process.
  • Process and monitor invoice payments.
  • Help drive process improvement.
  • Support the team during ad-hoc and annual projects.
  • Support to develop key partnerships with schools and colleges, and universities and external companies to ensure we promote our programmes to a wide pool of talent and recruit a fully inclusive early careers pipeline.
  • Work with our internal teams to promote our brand through a range of channels.
  • Responsible for co-coordinating our involvement and brand presentation at careers and campus events.

 

Training Provided:

 

As a HR Support Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the HR Support Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship, which is aligned with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Upon completion you will be awarded the CIPD Foundation Certificate and you will be able to apply for Membership of CIPD.

The apprenticeship will be delivered through a blend of live online learning, pre-recorded lectures, and face to face inductions and masterclasses.

 

Qualification Requirements:

 

  • 5 GCSEs at grades 4 or above (including English and Maths)
  • 3 A-levels at grades C or above.
