Summary

The role will support the Finance and Service Leadership Team in business planning and decision making by providing detailed reports, statistical analysis and strategic input. The main purpose of the role is to minimise risk and maximise opportunity for the Company through detailed and accurate financial analysis and strategic review.

Key Responsibilities

* Producing, analysing and reporting the weekly and monthly profit forecasts and performance data.

* Delivering timely and accurate regional and national financial reports.

* Monitor and deliver regular reporting on commissions and bonuses and assist with annual target setting accordingly.

* Provide commercial insight to support operational planning and forecasting.

* Contributing to the annual budget process.

* Detailed analysis of revenue trends, profitability and productivity on all areas of the service business

* Deliver key requirements whilst reviewing trends, helping to highlight deviations in performance.

* Production and distribution of regular reports to monitor monthly revenue progress.

* Drive improvement to our revenue recognition assessments and controls.

* Ensure the year end and month end positions are accurately reported.

* Monitor KPIs and report on non-financial KPI's from our ERP system, highlighting trends and analysing variances such as SLA performance, stock turnaround, warranty stats, calls per days, and revenues per technicians.

* Complete full detailed P&L monthly performance variance analysis.

* Analyse complex financial information and reports to provide recommendations to the senior leadership team to support decision making.

* Prepare presentations for the senior leadership team.

* Other reporting and analysis as required on logistics performance, indirect and direct cost drivers.

* Auditing of operational costs to ensure that all revenue has been captured for all streams and that income is maximised.

Essential Skills

* Previous Commercial Business Analysis experience

* Agile and Waterfall knowledge

* Outstanding analytical, communication and organisational skills

* Proactive and results driven

* Ability to multi-task several projects concurrently

* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft products

* Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills

Preferred Skills

* ITIL

* Prince 2

* BA Qualifications

* BCS / ISEB Certificate or Diploma
