- As a Commissioning Assistant within ACS, the purpose of the role is to support the head of Commissioning and commissioning managers in the development and implementation of strategies, projects and delivery plans that form the commissioning intentions of ACS.
- They will support the commissioning and contract management of a portfolio of services along with supporting the innovation and transformation project work being undertaken within ACS to make sure Rochdale delivers its statute duties under the Care Act 2014, Adult Social Care Reform White Paper 'People at the Heart of Care' and the preparedness for CQC assurance framework.
- The role will involve working with care providers understanding the growing pressures and supporting the development, maintenance and growth towards a sustainable care market place that can meet the needs of Rochdale and its residents.
