What will the apprentice be doing?
Through training and mentoring, you will advance your skills and experience, learning school curriculum expectations and requirements, gaining the knowledge to teach and coach to exceptional standards.
This role requires someone already qualified to level 2 standard, passionate, creative, and ambitious, who is ready to nurture children and young adults to live healthy and active lifestyles.

Throughout the apprenticeship you will gain:
Apprenticeship training will be delivered by a Training Provider online. The sessions will be delivered bi-weekly for 2-3 hours.
Apprentices will be given 6 hours per week to focus on apprenticeship work, the other 29 hours per week will be dedicated to working with the employer to develop skills, knowledge and experience in the workplace.

We are looking to recruit a Level 4 Sports Coach Apprentice who is eager to develop a long-term career working in the sports and dance coaching industry and is looking to take their current coaching knowledge to the next level. Through training and mentoring, you will advance your skills and experience, learning school curriculum expectations and requirements, gaining the knowledge to teach and coach to exceptional standards. The position will require applicants to work a several school/sports sites, and so the ideal candidate will have their own transport or be willing to travel.

- Assist in the delivery of fun, engaging, and educational PE lessons
- Assist with the development and organisation of sport and physical activity projects
- Achieve development aims as dictated by your training schedule
