About the apprenticeship
A deadline driven Business Administration Apprentice is required to join our busy team . In this post you will learn all aspects of working in an office environment whilst studying towards your Business Admin qualification. As an administrator who provides support to a number of key functions in the business e.g., HR/Finance/Purchasing/Quality/Sales, you will have an insight to the business of how these functions work and the services they provide. This is an excellent career opportunity for someone who wants to progress within the business.
You will be working towards your L3 Business Admin apprenticeship by assisting in a range of duties relevant to your studies, you will also be set aside time to complete your learning. Duties include:
General admin duties i.e., photocopying, filing (paper and electronically)
Using Word and Excel to create spreadsheets and other documents
Managing office post
Answering phone calls, email enquiries and greeting any clients in the office
Assisting various departments with any admin needs
You will be enrolled onto a level 3 apprenticeship in Business Administration.

Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
Ensure any unsafe actions or conditions are (observed and) escalated to the appropriate person - line manager/ HSE team/committee member or as appropriate
Report all accidents to a first aider on site
Be well presented and wear company uniform as directed
Follow 5s methodology to organise work spaces to create efficiency and effectiveness
Demonstrate a professional approach - being reliable and punctual.
Educated to “GCSE” Level
Self-motivating and able to use own initiative.
Organised and structured with a good attention to detail.
Ability to build good working relationships.
Delivers to agreed timescales.
Good organisational skills.
High attention to detail.
Excellent Communication Skills.
IT skills and PC familiarity with a particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets.
It is expected that the post holder will abide by the company mission and values by demonstrating a proactive, ethical and can-do attitude / behaviour to the role and responsibilities.
