What will the apprentice be doing?
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Undertaking the prestigious ICAEW ACA Level 7 qualification, which means 15 exams across a three year period.
You will be attending college for Taught and Revision phases of each exam which may be in person or remotely. In addition, there will be plenty of supporting material available to help you with your studies as well as touchpoint calls with the training provider to talk through your progress.
Each student will be assigned a Counsellor who is there to guide and review your work and progress.
The ACA qualification is not easy but if you are disciplined and motivated it is certainly achievable and rewarding too.
Year 1 will be heavy on initial studies and training.
Year 2 will focus more on practical hands on technical experience and training.
Year 3 will develop your leadership skills and all the years will come into focus for your final Case Study exam.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Many of our past students have progressed through the firm, either staying in the Audit dept although some have moved to Accounts or Tax. Our Managing Partner was an ACA student with Hillier Hopkins, so there is no limit!

Things to consider
We have three offices London, Milton Keynes and Watford. Although based from Watford you may work from our other sites at times and you will be required to attend client premises. Therefore this position would suit a car driver.
- Working within the Accounts and Audit departments on live client accounts
- Exposure to a variety of client businesses and contacts
- Developing expertise in technical and soft skill techniques
