What will the apprentice be doing?
We are a forward-thinking firm providing a range of accounting, audit, tax and advisory services. We are looking for someone ready to progress their career and develop their skill set. As a trainee accountant, you will receive practical on-the-job training, as well as study support.

GCSE or equivalent 5's- including English and Maths etc (Grade 9-4 (A*-C)) Essential
A Level or equivalent Any (Grade Pass) Essential
Other AAT/ICAEW/ACCA- Level 3/4 (Grade Pass) Essential
Things to consider
Must be able to travel to Chelmsford for you taught courses for ICAEW. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week). For more information please visit: https://www.gov.uk/national-minimum-wage-rates

- Producing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Bookkeeping duties
- Preparing corporate and personal tax returns
- Audit attendance
- Client communication
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 7 Accountancy or taxation professional standard:
- Level 7 ICAEW or ACCA
- Training to be provided in house, along with courses at First Intuition, Chelmsford
- Apprentices without English or mathematics at Level 2 must achieve this prior to the completion of the End Point Assessment
