What will the apprentice be doing?
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The training programme will consist of online training, webinars, classroom sessions and workplace visits with a tutor. The qualification is a Level 4 Sports Coach apprenticeship which you will achieve on completion. Plus, Functional Skills as required.

GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade A*-C/4-9) Desired
GCSE or equivalent English (Grade A*-C/4-9) Desired
BTEC or equivalent Sport (Grade Level 2/3) Essential
Things to consider
A full driving licence and own vehicle are desirable as you will be travelling between sites. Travel expenses will be discussed at the interview. Btec level 2/3 qualification is essential, or work experience in a sport related environment.
- Successful candidates will deliver sport and physical activities to children and young people
- Delivering sessions both in school curriculum time following the PE National Curriculum and/or set programmes of study
- Deliver a range of OSHL, (Out Of School Hours Learning) extracurricular activities before school, at lunch times, after school and in school holiday periods 5 days a week including some evenings and weekends
