What will the apprentice be doing?
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Successful candidates will deliver sport and physical activities to children and young people
- Delivering sessions both in school curriculum time following the PE National Curriculum and/or set programmes of study
- Deliver a range of OSHL, (Out Of School Hours Learning) extracurricular activities before school, at lunch times, after school and in school holiday periods 5 days a week including some evenings and weekends
The training programme will consist of online training, webinars, classroom sessions and workplace visits with a tutor. The qualification is a Level 4 Sports Coach apprenticeship which you will achieve on completion. Plus, Functional Skills as required.What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

A full driving licence and own vehicle are desirable as you will be travelling between sites. Travel expenses will be discussed at the interview. Btec level 2/3 qualification is essential, or work experience in a sport related environment.
