Universal AV Services:
- Rack building/pre-wire
- Install LED Screens, Video Walls and Flat Panel Displays, Projectors
- Installing AV Control systems, e.g. Crestron, Extron, VC
- Install audio equipment, speakers, microphones etc.
- Solder AV connectors, terminate shielded category cable
Universal Live:
- Assisting our technical team on events for onsite training
- Testing and preparing a range of technical equipment - AV / lighting / video / stage and set
- Delivering / Collecting equipment
- Rigging / De-rigging equipment on site
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- General maintenance of a wide range of technical equipment
- Assist with the yearly company stock take and PAT testing as necessary
- Day to Day warehouse maintenance
- Manage all storage space and areas
- Ensure equipment is safe and secure at all time
- Some evening and weekend work as and when required
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Level 5 Audio-Visual Apprenticeship Standard
- On and off the job training
- Day release at Middlesbrough College (Remote)
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Depending on the circumstances of the business upon completion of the apprenticeship programme there could be a potential position of employment available
