What will the apprentice be doing?

Purpose of the role and your responsibilities:
  • Plan and conduct audits in line with the audit programme to meet customer/organisational/regulatory audit requirements
  • Participate and assist with hosting External Audits to include BSI and Group Audits
  • Contribute to the output of related customer satisfaction activities, such as Right First Time and On-Time delivery and support the achievement of these
  • Identify, investigate, and contain non-conformances and advise on actions to prevent recurrence
  • Understand the Report-It system for managing Corrective and Preventive Actions
  • Use tools and techniques to improve quality performance, such as reducing waste, improving right first-time delivery, reducing non-compliance
  • Gather and analyse routine quality performance data and produce relevant reports to support governance, assurance, and improvement activities
  • ICT Champion
  • Provide resilience to the IMS & Business Improvement Team, to include general administrative tasks
  • Provide administrative support to the ITCC Manager & Operations Hub Manager
  • Provide resilience to the ITCC Operators and Priority Response Officers
  • To actively foster a positive staff morale
  • To willingly carry out any reasonable task as requested by a member of management

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will receive Level 4 Quality Practitioner Apprenticeship Qualification.

A 100% tailored training and assessment programme will be delivered to support you throughout your Apprenticeship, (14 - 18 months including endpoint assessment) topics covered include:
  • Introduction to Quality and Quality Management Systems
  • Quality - Organisations and their Context
  • Product and Service Life Cycle and Design
  • Understanding and Delivering Customer Requirements
  • Risk, Opportunity and Objectives
  • Leveraging the value of Audits
  • Driving Improvement
  • Culture, Communication and Life-Long learning
  • You may need to complete level 2 maths and English Functional skills (if you cannot evidence prior grades)

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Internal progression or further degree apprenticeship.
