Job Description:
Financial Reporting
- Compile financial reports based on requests received from the broader Marketing and Business Development team.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the self-service tools that the broader M&BD team has access to and be able to advise on the best way for the team to find the information they need.
- Assist the Business Intelligence team in the generation and analysis of financials as part of larger projects for firm.
- management, spotting trends and providing a write up on key trends and findings.
- Develop an in depth understanding of the firm’s research tools and be able to work on quick turnaround research requests.
- Assist in the production of quarterly financial presentations for the region, practice, and sector teams.
Budgeting
- Develop an understanding of how the budget maps to various offices and practices across the business.
- Assist servicing budget requests on an ongoing basis from the team, including budget vs actual analysis and directing cost reallocations as needed.
- Wider Business Intelligence initiatives and tasks.
- Produce weekly newsletters for the firm’s Sector marketing teams including, proofreading, checking links, and quality
- of content, managing the newsletter archive, and overseeing the distribution lists.
- Ensuring that new joiners in the global M&BD team have access to the standard finance reporting tools, working with the technology team amongst others to ensure that this is carried out.
- Maintaining the team’s shared mailbox and ensuring that the tasks are forwarded on to the appropriate team member and that our clients receive acknowledgement of request in a timely manner.
- Assist as needed in researching and market analysis as part of broader BI team projects for senior management.
Systems and Software
- Become proficient in tools that the firm and team use such as, iPublish, Interaction, Introhive, the firm’s finance.
- system 3E.
- Develop an in depth understanding of the Microsoft Office suite especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to run some intermediate data analysis and present it in a user-friendly fashion.

- structure, staff location or services.

Training Provided:
As an Accounting Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the Professional Accountancy Taxation Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship. Within the apprenticeship you will undertake the CIMA certificate level professional qualification.
The apprenticeship will be completed at a BPP centre or via the Online Classroom platform, in addition to at the workplace.
Qualification Requirements:
5 GCSE's Including Maths & English - Grade 4 or C and above
Completed A-levels is preferred

Previous experience with Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite would be advantageous though not essential.
Some prior work experience would be advantageous, although not required.
