Job summary

Being an Apprentice Chef is one thing.... but being an Apprentice Chef in our hospital helping nourish our patients is something else.

You will thrive off a fast-paced kitchen with the support of a close-knit team to help you develop your culinary skills.

You don't need experience as you will be supported to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours you need to become a vital kitchen team member whilst undertaking the Production Chef Apprenticeship. What is vital is that you are willing to learn.

Main duties of the job

We won't shy away from saying that at times it will be a challenging role, but we know you will expect this and of course, this will be offset by how rewarding it is too.

Your day-to-day role will be to prepare, cook and present food under supervision for staff, visitors and primarily patients to the highest standards in line with the department's quality control guidelines.
