Job Details
We are a supportive organisation that believes the right candidate with the right mentorship can achieve great things. Many of our apprentices started with us several years ago and are now in leadership and management roles within our organisation.
We are looking for a conscientious individual with initiative, common sense, resilience, good communication and good knowledge of Microsoft Office, to work alongside our Appointments Manager.
Main duties of the job
This role is a fantastic opportunity to learn how a GP Practice manages its appointment systems. You will be trained to create appointment types and appointment rota templates and to apply these across clinicians using SystmOne, which is the clinical system used within our Practice. Part of your responsibility will be to block appointments when clinicians have meetings or other responsibilities to undertake, liaising with them where appropriate, as well as ensuring holidays and sickness are recorded appropriately. The role will also involve talking to patients when clinics are cancelled. You will gain an understanding of NHS Contract requirements including core hours and extended hours and undertake any other relevant administrative tasks appropriate to the role.
About us
Larwood Health Partnership is a GP Practice based over 5 sites. We believe in delivering a first class service to our patients and are rated as Outstanding by CQC. Our patient list size continues to grow and as a result we are looking for a conscientious individual to join our Team.
