About the apprenticeship
Duties
• Help manage the commercial side of construction projects and look for ways to minimise the total cost of the project to the business whilst still meeting the required standards and levels of quality
• You will split time between working in the office and out on site, preparing payments and cost reports and managing relationships with various stakeholders
• You will work closely with the project team to identify and tackle challenges throughout a project
• You will help build and maintain relationships with both Clients and Subcontractors
• You will have involvement in procurement, negotiation, valuation and ensuring payments are made with subcontractors
• Submit client Application For Payments (AFP's) on a monthly basis
• Attending project control meetings to understand and review progress on site
• Running and reviewing cost reports to ensure accurate forecasting, both internally and to the client

• Valid driving licence/working towards would be required due to travel required in this role
• Ability to work professionally as part of a team

• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Willingness and flexibility to travel to sites across your operational region
Qualifications
• 5 GCSE's grade A-C (4-9) subject must include English and Maths and a science, BTec Level 3 Diploma (PPP) or equivalent qualifications , or 1 or 2 A levels in a relevant subject
