Duties

• Weighing and preparing ingredients
• Mixing and depositing
• Baking various traybakes and confectionery
• Finishing, decorating and cutting as above
• Packing
• Cleaning equipment and bakery/kitchen

Additional information

CAPITAL CUISINE (Traybakers), are a situated in a 6000sq ft bespoke bakery/commercial catering kitchen in Bedwas, Caerphilly. The business has doubled turnover since Covid and continues to go from strength to strength. The food culture within the long standing team and the business is very inclusive and the appointed person will need to actively work together with the team to. The volume of product produced each week is high (approx. 10 pallets per week), however the working hours are 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday with very occasional overtime and/or weekend work

Skills

The ideal person will have a keen interest in food, be flexible in their approach to the various skills required to learn. Reliability is key as the appointed person will become an integral part of a small busy team. The opportunity to learn a craft skill whilst gaining a recognised qualification should be seen as an exciting career pathway
