About the apprenticeship


Assisting our Fabricator/Welder and Setter to include the following:
• Welding
• Fabricating
• Manufacturing
• Drilling and using power tools
• Driving Forklift (when required)
• Loading/Unloading vehicles (when required)
• Keeping your work area clean and tidy
• Setting up and running specialized machines equipment (such as presses, un-coilers, roll-formers, and any other pieces of equipment as deemed necessary ) to produce various designs and sizes of Roller Shutter Door sections and other Roller Shutter Door components.

Additional information

Essential Physical Functions:
• Be able to safely lift or move at least 50 lbs.
• Be able to drive a forklift (not essential but would be an advantage) and use a pallet jack.
• Capable of pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods of time.



• Must be able to maintain focus of tasks at hand with attention to detail.
• Must be able to follow an established routine and be predisposed to high level of interaction in a team environment.
• Successful candidates must be a highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently without continuous supervision.
• Work with an understanding that they are a member of a team where success for one is measured by success for all.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and easily adapt to changing situations.
