Project Management Degree Apprenticeship

What will the apprentice be doing?

• The Project Management Apprentice will work within an education team supporting the development and implementation of curriculum projects
• You will be responsible for a variety of project management tasks, including organising materials, researching best practice, communicating with stakeholders, tracking project progress and evaluating project impact
• You will work at the Star Central office in Blackburn, where you will learn the skills of project management and put them into practice whilst studying for your degree

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

• Project manager (integrated degree) Level 6 Apprenticeship Standard
• Whilst working in our education team you will also study for your degree: BSc project Management at Aston Business School, Aston University

This will include attending fortnightly activity-led online webinars, completing self-study and participating in two on-campus study days three times per year at Aston University in Birmingham.

Through the combination of work and study, you will gain the knowledge, skills and behaviours you need in order to thrive as a project manager.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

• This is a full-time position. After gaining your degree, Star Academies will continue to be committed to your learning and development throughout your career with us

GCSE or equivalent :5 GCSEs including English & Maths (Grade 5/C or above) Essential
