About the apprenticeship
Duties
Greeting visitors and attending to them during their stay.
Answering the switchboard, forwarding calls, taking messages and screening phone calls.
Responding to online requests via email.
Supporting the team with administrative skills such as data entry, mail merge and maintaining a range of excel spreadsheets.
Issuing ID cards, stationery and various other items and maintaining an inventory of what has been taken.
Preparing meeting and training rooms and ensuring that they are always presented in a suitable manner.
Preparing for office events that encourages participation e.g., charity fundraising days.
Work in partnership with manager through preparation for attending supervision and appraisal.
Support other departments as needed with ad-hoc assignments such as attending events and providing additional meeting support.
