About the apprenticeship

Duties

• Providing business critical support services to large Government clients such as the Ministry of Justice and Defence, Home Office, Department for Work and Pensions and the Met Police
• Answering incoming calls and responding to emails, handling queries with integrity and ensuring information is logged accurately and efficiently
• Making a difference to everyday lives by providing outstanding customer service to key public sector clients
• Continually learning and developing your knowledge and experience, working across different departments, and gaining exposure to different clients and systems

The Customer Service Apprenticeship is a 15-month program, which will combine work and education, allowing you to gain a formal qualification, as well as hands-on experience.

Requirements

Skills

What you'll bring:
• Ideally you will hold an English and Maths GCSE (or equiv.) at Grade C/4 or above, or a willingness to work towards functional/essential skills certification.
• You will be an excellent communicator who enjoys speaking to people and is confident when speaking on the phone
• A natural curiosity with good attention to detail and ability to organise and prioritise various tasks
• A strong sense of empathy to understand the needs of your customer and the resilience to get the job done
• 5 years residency within the UK and comfortable going through a Security Clearance process

Qualifications

• Ideally you will hold an English and Maths GCSE (or equiv.) at Grade C/4 or above, or a willingness to work towards functional/essential skills certification.
You will NOT be eligible for the apprenticeship if you have:
• Completed a degree in any field or currently receiving any Government funding for another qualification; or
