Requirements

Skills

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualities: proven excellent team member, flexibility, have their own ideas, sensible decision-making abilities. We are happy to receive applications from candidates without Playwork qualifications provided you show a keen interest in working with children and young people.

We have a variety of personalities in our staff and we all compliment each other. You will always be made to feel welcome and as part of the family. We love for a team member to bring new and fresh ideas to our sessions and to also contribute to any other peoples ideas. We always work with the children and help them along in their ideas and games. We have a lovely outdoor area and use of both the school playgrounds (and field in the summer months) and this allows the children to explore nature and play games together

Qualifications

We are happy to consider applications from candidates who are currently studying and working towards their Level 2 Childcare or Level 2 or 3 Playwork Qualification.

We are also happy to accept applications from candidates who have no prior childcare experience, as long as you are keen to work with children and show a willingness to improve your knowledge and understanding of all things Playwork, we are fully supportive of you fulfilling your training whilst working with us. We have a great working relationship with Coleg Cambria who can help and guide you through your Playwork Qualification.

Whilst with Kinnerton Little Acorns, we always encourage our team to access other funded learning and development to help you in your career of Childcare.
