We are delighted to offer an apprenticeship in the Imaging Secretarial Admin Team for an Apprentice Administrator. This department forms part of the Radiology Imaging division of the hospital which provides a diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic service for patients in the East of England region. The various imaging techniques within the division are used help to diagnose and treat diseases in the body.

Please note that we are looking to start our apprentices any time from July onwards and we welcome applications from candidates who are currently due to sit their exams in the summer.

Main duties of the job

As an Apprentice Administrator, you will be providing administration support within the Imaging Department with duties which include communicating with internal and external colleagues (such as GP surgeries) via telephone and e-mail, booking patient appointments by phone, diary management for the Operation's Managers, taking minutes of meetings and general administration duties. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and enthusiastic with strong organisational skills and have a desire to deliver excellent customer service within their role.
