An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the Estates team within the Trust to support us in providing an effective and safe environment that supports patient care, if you are organised, like working with people and are interested in a career within the NHS then this could be the job for you. The NHS is seeing a lot of investment into the estate. Whilst needed it is vitally important that we invest in our people to support the delivery of that investment whilst maintaining the day to day running of the estate with this apprentice role identified as an essential cog in our journey as we venture into the future of NHS provision at Shropshire Community Health Trust.
The estate and its management is a core element of the healthcare system throughout the Trust which directly supports patient care and corporate functions.
- As this is an apprenticeship, full time hours are needed to fulfil the requirements of the qualification
Main duties of the job
It is an exciting time for the team as we are involved in delivering multiple schemes across our estate to maintain and improve the built environment where variety is guaranteed which extends to developing our processes whilst being involved directly in changing the face of our estate. Estates are involved in all areas of the Trust and wider, from safety, maintenance refurbishments and sustainability which include energy, water and waste this role will support the delivery of a sustainable health care provision across Shropshire
