Progressive Technology Ltd and Progressive Technology Advanced Materials Ltd are part of a rapidly expanding group of engineering companies based in Newbury, working primarily in the Formula 1 industry. We have experienced rapid growth in size over the last two years and have plans in place to ensure that this continues in the future.
To this end, we are now looking for a Human Resources Apprentice to support our busy HR department.
The role:
* Employment administration; candidate referencing, issuing employee contracts, co-ordinating interviews, preparing induction pack, ordering PPE.
* Ensuring the Company Handbook is kept up to date.
* Drafting staff letters.
* Administering absence recording and holiday bookings.
* Administrating and maintaining employee benefits schemes
* Supporting the HR team with projects
* Any other ad-hoc administration duties.
The Candidate:
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
* A professional and confidential manner
* Strong attention to detail
* Strong Microsoft Office Packages skills, including Excel
* A GCSE pass at grade 4/C and above in English and Maths
This is a full-time position working 42.5 hours per week, from 8am until 5pm, Monday to Friday.
