Business Development Apprentice
Padstone Recruitment’s founding members have a collective 35 years construction/recruitment experience. We supply blue and white collar personnel across the South East on either a temporary or permanent basis.
Description of Vacancy
This is a fantastic opportunity with scope to progress into more senior roles within the company once you have completed your apprenticeship.
As our Business Development apprentice you will help influence and expand our ongoing success by liaising with current clients, helping to source new ones, and aiming to fill our vacancies with the right candidates.

Tasks will include – but are not limited to – the following:
– Making/receiving candidate calls
– Liaising with current clients and helping to generate new ones
– Conducting the administrative elements of the recruitment process, including sourcing references
– Vetting candidates
– Filling vacancies
£160 per week with potential for more as you develop in the role
40 hours per week:
Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00 (includes hour long unpaid lunch break)
The successful applicant should have good computer skills. An excellent telephone manner is essential.
– Keen to progress
Minimum grade D / 3 in English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent)
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
The employer has asked that you do not contact them direct. Doing so could jeopardise your application. You will be responsible for your travel expenses to and from your place of work. Therefore, you must have the means to get to your place of work on a daily basis whilst waiting for your first wages to be paid.
