We're looking for a bright, ambitious Marketing Assistant to join our fast growing, award winning Marketing, PR and Social Media Agency based at the Heritage Exchange in Lindley, Huddersfield.

Some of the duties and responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Strong skills in Social Media and PR - on top of the latest trends with a genuine passion for the industry and eager to learn more.
  • A creative mind and ability to ensure all content is of high quality.
  • Impeccable attention to grammar, spelling and punctuation.
  • Hands on and confident with strong commercial and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Willing to get stuck into all Marketing activities across the agency.

Requirements and prospects Desired skills
  • Experience of using tools such as Hootsuite, WordPress, Google Analytics and PR databases.
  • Must have own transport and a clean driving license. Part of this role requires a license as you will be required to go on client visits independently after training.
  • A creative mind and ability to ensure all content is of high quality.
  • Must have at least one years' experience in a similar role - either permanent or placement.
Personal qualities
  • A strong attention to detail, extremely organised with excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines.
Qualifications required
  • 5 GCSEs at grades A*- C or equivalent (including English Language and Maths), and a relevant level 3 qualification.
Future prospects An ongoing training and development programme e.g. CIM, CIPR and other training opportunities (we're just about to embark on a bespoke Account Management training programme).
