You'll be working with our Consulting Support Team which is part of the largest UK consulting team providing advice to many of the leading UK company pension schemes. The Analyst Apprentice is a consulting support role where you will work as part of a team on a wide variety of complex projects serving as a key resource for our many client teams.
Typical work will include:
- Complex data manipulation
- Calculating and valuing the benefits of individual members
- Pension scheme valuations
- Accounting disclosures
- Monthly client billing
- Cross-departmental projects
You will be part of a small local apprentice team but also included in a wider growing group of apprentices in other offices and disciplines. Your manager and assigned mentor will be on hand at all times to fully guide you through your programme - making adjustments as necessary to ensure you achieve your full potential.Requirements and prospects Desired skills
- High level of numeracy

Based on predicted grades - three A level passes equivalent to 112 UCAS points (2017 tariff) including at least a B grade in Maths.Future prospects Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there will be an opportunity to join and progress within the Consulting Support Team. You will continue to grow and develop new skills supported by our extensive in-house training resources and tailored programmes. We will provide ongoing support enabling you to complete the exams and become a Certified Actuarial Analyst Things to consider From the 1st October 2016 The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.40 per hour. From April 2017 this rises to £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
