  • 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday Total hours per week: 37.50

Vacancy description

Duties include:

  • Contact prospective clients to discuss the validity of claims
  • Collate missing documents or information
  • Performing quality control checks on all returned documents from new clients
  • Manage caseloads using our bespoke systems
  • Validate claim’s suitability for submission
  • Provide an excellent level of customer service
  • Identify cross selling opportunities to acquire new claims
  • Update the clients on progress of claim
  • Correspond with third parties regarding progression of claim
  • Record accurate data entry of call outcomes and customer information
  • Working towards and achieving team/individual targets
  • Ensure that you are committed to provide a high quality of experience to the customer and the brand at every opportunity, explaining choices and providing recommendations
  • Ensure company standards, policies and procedures are maintained
  • Recognise and maximize potential sales opportunities
  • Maintain a flexible approach in order to accommodate changing needs and growth
  • Any other tasks deemed reasonable of your role

Desired skills

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills 
  • ICT Literate
  • Ability to ask specific questions to uncover customers’ needs
  • Excellent telephone manner

  • Have excellent objection handling skills, with the ability to generate high quality leads
  • Keen, enthusiastic, team player with a can-do attitude and strong work ethic as well as a tenacious approach
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently by using own initiative and being comfortable in meeting strict targets
  • Thrive in a data-based, team-centred work environment
  • Must be comfortable speaking on the telephone as this will be a large part of the role

Desired qualifications

  • A-C GCSE grades or equivalent qualifications are desirable but not essential

  • Once you have completed your apprenticeship, your employer will be looking to offer you a full time position within the company
