Responsibilities of the Software & Web Development Apprentice:

  • Ensure that any duties are carried out professionally whilst maintaining fantastic levels of customer service
  • Dealing with support calls in a timely manner
  • Ensuring that all tickets raised are chased through appropriately
  • Deliver on-site training on the bespoke computer system suite of products (following full training being given)
  • Liaising with clients in relation to installation and support of Hardware and Software
  • You will be able to demonstrate knowledge of using Microsoft computer software and applications
  • Deliver webinar sessions on topical features as directed

  • Must hold a full, clean UK Driver's License due to the nature of the role

Qualifications required

Minimum 7 GCSE Grades (C and above including Maths and English) with either A levels in IT or Computer Science or someone who has previously completed a Level 3 Software & Web Development Apprenticeship.

Future prospects This is a fantastic apprenticeship that will require successful candidates to be fully committed to their learning and developing their skill set.

Things to consider From 1st October 2016 The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.40 per hour. From April 2017 this rises to £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
