CCS | Compass Corporate Services are excited to be assisting with the appointment of a clients newly created Apprenticeships Manager post, to look oversee

Overview
This role has been created to support the Learning & Development lead in ensuring all new and current staff have the appropriate skills, qualifications and development they need to continually improve their performance whilst enabling them to professionally develop their career.

You'll be responsible for ensuring your own knowledge of internal apprenticeships and formal qualifications are continually updated, to enable you to advise, drive and promote these across the business as you will be the main point of contact for any questions.

As the business operates within the Care and Education field, you'll need to be aware of changing legislations so you can monitor the Care Certificate and report on completion across the business. Also, you'll need to maintain an up to date knowledge of the sector.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop, design / re-design the organisations induction programme ensuring that it is comprehensive for all new starters
Develop internal career pathways across the organisation, ensuring it is clear, fit for purpose, accessible for all colleagues and in line with the Learning & Development Strategy.
Oversee and manage the apprenticeship levy accounts
Analysis and produce reports on the qualifications of the workforce across the business
Manage and Monitor the apprenticeship enrolments and progression.
Liase with current and new external training partners, managing and maintaining relationships
Deliver training

Although this role will predominately be office based, on the occasion travel will be required so flexibility to travel will be essential.

Criteria
Teaching qualification (PTLLS or equivalent)
Able to liaise effectively with staff and managers at all levels of the organisation.
Able to demonstrate good organisational skills and attention to detail
Good understanding of the Apprenticeship Programmes
Able to design an effective induction programmes, with a blended learning approach
Experience working within an L&D department within the Health & Social Care Sector
An awareness of the management of the apprenticeship levy and TAS Account
Knowledge of Skills for Care, CQC, and Ofsted
Knowledge/understanding of the National Minimum Data Set (SfC) and Workforce Development Fund
An awareness of the management of the apprenticeship levy and TAS Account
