Apprentice Service Desk Engineer

Salary 18,000 - 18,000 GBP per year

Requirements:

GCSE Maths & English (Grade C/4 or above)
- A passion for technology and a basic understanding of IT administration
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Keen interest in a career in IT and strong affinity for problem-solving and helping people
- Good customer service skills, patience, friendliness, and confident communication

Responsibilities:

Deliver professional IT support by email and telephone, gaining experience in how technology plays a role in local businesses
- Get involved in challenging IT projects, monitoring client's infrastructure/services remotely, and configuring/building client machines
- Work towards becoming a Level 3 Information Communication Technician with Intequal

Working within our Service Desk team, you will not only enhance your technical knowledge but also gain valuable experience in supporting local businesses through email and telephone. You will also have the chance to contribute to challenging IT projects, remote monitoring of client infrastructure/services, and configuring/building client machines in our office.

This apprenticeship provides varied and interesting opportunities, up-to-date training options, and potential future employment prospects. We believe in supporting our employees' needs as they progress in their careers.

Successful completion of this apprenticeship will earn you an accredited Level 3 Information Communication Technician qualification. The training is delivered online in virtual classrooms twice a week, and if needed, you will also undertake Functional Skills for English and/or Maths.
