We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Transport Controller / Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in managing our courier operations and building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Dispatch and Coordination:** 
   - Efficiently allocate courier jobs to drivers and ensure timely deliveries.
   - Monitor real-time driver activities and address any issues or delays promptly.
   - Coordinate with drivers to optimize delivery routes for efficiency.

2. **Client Account Management:**
   - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
   - Proactively communicate with clients to understand their delivery needs and provide solutions.
   - Identify opportunities to upsell services and expand client accounts.

3. **Inbound Enquiries:**
   - Manage inbound client inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
   - Provide clients with accurate information about our services, pricing, and delivery capabilities.
   - Assess client needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.

4. **Account Growth:**
   - Identify opportunities to grow client accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
   - Develop account growth strategies and implement them effectively.
   - Collaborate with the sales team to identify and convert new business opportunities.

5. **Problem Resolution:**
   - Handle and resolve any delivery-related issues, such as delays or package discrepancies.
   - Act as a point of contact for clients and drivers to address concerns and ensure client satisfaction.

6. **Documentation and Reporting:**
   - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, driver schedules, and client interactions.
   - Generate reports on delivery performance and client account status.

7. **Compliance and Safety:**
   - Ensure that all deliveries adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
   - Monitor driver compliance with company policies and safety procedures.


- Proven experience in a similar role within the courier or logistics industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in using courier management software and tools.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
