Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer Telford, Shropshire Automated Machinery Business GBP26,000 GBP28,000 per annum + paid overtime + pension + benefits. Working Hours: 8:45am 5:00pm (Monday Friday). A supplier of a diverse range of automated machinery has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Graduate to join their Mechanical Design team. This opportunity will suit a graduate with a degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or aerospace engineering who is keen to work within a progressive and fast-growing business. Working in a diverse team of skilled Design Engineers you will be fully involved in concept through to production design of industrial machinery for clients on a worldwide scale. Working on multiple projects at any one time, this role provides a daily range of interesting challenges. Role & Responsibilities Design and development of Automation Systems and Equipment. Creation of technical specifications / documentation for the selection and development of equipment. Performing Design calculations. Utilising both 2D & 3D CAD Packages Solidworks & AutoCAD. Working within a cross sectional team of Mechanical, Electrical and Control Engineers. Provision of internal technical product support. Reporting into the Engineering Design Team Lead. Required Skills & Experience Degree Qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Related Subject Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering etc. Experience of working on 2D & 3D CAD Packages. Willingness to learn and work within a team environment. A hunger to learn, develop skills and progress.
