Responsibilities

In addition to the formal learning you will undertake, you will gain valuable experience from day one. You will carry out a range of work and take on many responsibilities which you would not be required/able to do on an academic course. These activities might include:

Reviewing documents.

Managing data/records.

Drafting and producing legal documents and standard forms.

Carrying out research.

Handling confidential and sensitive information.

Communicating (written and oral) with internal and external stakeholders.

Becoming familiar with and involved in legal matters and work which relates to the Association of British Pharmaceutical Industry Code of Practice.

Working closely with other functions within the UK business.

Interacting with colleagues from different geographies within the Chiesi Group.

In line with annual objectives, contributing and supporting the company on its sustainability journey.

Training Provided:

 As a Paralegal Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the Paralegal Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship. Additional learning within the apprenticeship will enable you to be awarded a Level 4 Certificate of Higher Education in Legal Services which can afford you exemptions from the first two years of the Level 7 Solicitor Apprenticeship. Your apprenticeship shall be delivered by a blend of online and face-to-face training from and on-the-job learning.

Qualification Requirements:

5 GCSE Grade C / 4 (or above) including Maths and English

3 x A-Levels (or equivalent) at Grade B or above

Future Prospects:

When the two year apprenticeship has been completed, apprentices who would like to continue their learning may have the opportunity to join our Level 7 solicitor apprenticeship. This involves the completion of a degree in legal practice and will culminate in qualification as a solicitor.
