What you will do in your working day

Duties include:
  • Plan fun, engaging coaching activities, sessions and programmes in a safe environment
  • Give feedback on performance and help to improve technique
  • Monitor the physical condition and mental attitude of the people you coach

The training you will be getting

Trained by an Ofsted outstanding provider, the training will consist of online courses, webinars, classroom sessions and workplace visits with a tutor. On completion you will achieve a Level 4 Sports Coach qualification and Functional Skills as required.

Initially the role will involve delivering vital sport engagement days to spread awareness of the company in different schools every day, and our regular after-school clubs. The role will evolve to require regular delivery in-school, including PE, PPA cover, small group and 1-2-1 intervention sessions and mental health awareness through sport workshop days.

The successful candidates will report directly to the lead coach of their territory and to our training director (who has nearly two decades of experience of training teachers).

BTEC or equivalent Sport (Grade Level 3) Essential

Things to consider

You will need to be able to drive and have a car, to be able to get to the schools and carry equipment. You will be working within a radius of the vacancy postcode. This will be fully discussed at interview stage. The ability to pass the enhanced DBS procedure is also essential
