About the apprenticeship
Duties
Reporting to the Group Operations Manager, the Business Administration Apprentice will be responsible for undertaking a variety of day to day tasks to ensure the smooth running of the Group and will provide support in other business activities as and when required. Duties include:
Managing incoming and outgoing post, ensuring tracking of all post is maintained and any confidential post is forwarded to the relevant person
Answer incoming phone calls and direct to the relevant person, or take a message and ensure this is communicated effectively
Ensure office supplies and refreshments are in stock and organised
Provide support to a number of key functions in the business, such as Finance and HR
Work alongside the Administration team and support on tasks where needed
Use of basic Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Support Group Operations Manager with ad-hoc projects

Have a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Demonstrate strong attention to detail
A great team player with the ability to work on own initiative
Have strong organizational skills
Will be proactive and responsive to multiple stakeholders
Have strong all-round IT skills (including excel)
Dynamic, personable and able to handle working within a fast-paced environment
Maturity, professionalism and high level of discretion
Exemplary work ethic with a positive can do attitude
Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and numerical skills
Organised, attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt to the audience
