Duties
We are currently seeking an Apprentice IT Coordinator to join our IT Department. This entry-level role is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to launch their IT career within a dynamic and supportive environment. The selected candidate will assist in various aspects of our IT infrastructure, including troubleshooting user issues, managing IT equipment and software, and contributing to various projects centred around security, maintenance, productivity and health & safety.
Job Description - specific tasks What we are looking for:
• Aid in troubleshooting user issues to ensure continuous system functionality
• Maintain, manage, and organise IT equipment and software
• Monitor, maintain, and improve the Cultech network hardware and infrastructure, including our external sites
• Aid in various projects that involve security, maintenance, productivity and health & safety
• Collaborate effectively with the IT team to identify and resolve potential IT issues proactively
Additional information
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Office 365 packages
• Basic knowledge of network systems, both hardware and software
Requirements
Skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong knowledge and interest in computer systems
• Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to multitask
• An eagerness to learn and a commitment to personal development in IT
• Basic understanding of IT terminology and common IT issues
Qualifications
GCSE (or equivalent) in English at Grade A*-C / Level 2
GCSE (or equivalent) in an IT subject: Desirable
Language
Welsh Spoken Skills: No Welsh Written Skills: No
