Active Fitness Apprentice

At Circadian Trust, you will be working toward your Personal Trainer Level 3 qualification whilst earning a full-time salary.

Your day to day responsibilities will include:

-To learn and gain experience about the delivery of high quality gym activations, reviews and fitness assessments in accordance with the Active Fitness Service Plan.

-To meet, greet and introduce new customers to the gym as well as carry out tours of the gym facilities.

-To ensure the Health and Safety procedures are observed in the gym and report any risks, serious incidents and injuries to staff or customers to the Fitness Manager/ Fitness Supervisor or Senior Assistant Manager / Assistant Manager.

-To follow the Normal Operating Procedures and carry out any action as detailed in the Emergency Action Plan.

-To carry out first aid as necessary.

-To carry out inspections of gym equipment and maintenance as required including undertaking cleaning duties in accordance with the specified checklists and cleaning matrix.

-To provide the highest standards of customer care and provide specialist advice and encouragement to customers.

-Undertake administrative duties and use of the gym's computer management system.

-Shadow programmed fitness sessions and personal training as required.

-To support environmental systems and procedures to promote healthier lifestyles.

What your apprenticeship includes:

- A mixture of face to face and virtual catch ups with your learning coach every 4 - 6 weeks

- A mixture of on and off the job training, including workshops and webinars

- Feedback sessions to discuss progress

- Obtain Functional Skills in English and Maths (if you don't already have GCSE)
