About the apprenticeship
We are a busy accounting office located in Bargoed, South Wales, seeking an Administrative Assistant with experience in social media management to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. In addition, the candidate must have a proven track record of success in managing social media accounts, creating engaging content, and building brand awareness.
- Answering phones and directing calls to the appropriate person
- Greeting clients and visitors and assisting them with their needs
- Managing the office calendar and scheduling appointments
- Filing and organising paperwork and documents
- Performing data entry and maintaining electronic records
- Assisting with billing and invoicing tasks
- Providing administrative support to the accounting team as needed
- Managing and creating content for the office's social media platforms, including Instagram,
- Scheduling social media posts and responding to comments and messages
- Monitoring social media metrics and providing regular reports to the accounting team.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media management platforms
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
GCSE Maths and English Grade C and above
